Perfect day for a fish🎣 & 🍟 (or vegan alternatives 😉) with some fellow Environmental Psychologists. Lovely way to mark the end of Thais' research visit to @PlymUni. Was lovely to be able to work together again, exploring how citizen science can be used to combat marine litter

Off to the beach this summer holidays? Pick up some exciting artifacts (aka litter) - it not only helps wildlife 🌎, but you benefit from it too. #WinWin. Take a look at this small piece for the Vitamin Sea series from @PlymouthPsych @PlymUni @mcsuk @KeepBritainTidy @sascampaigns

Great talk about how community attachment (to the people but also attachment to local nature) impacts how people manage their waste in Indonesia (do they 🔥 ♻️ 🚮...) during @IAPS2024. Well done @Ana_Voronkova and @PISCESnews WP4 team

Was such an inspiring day at the #FutureFibresNetworkPlus Townhall event today. Started with how clothing fibres "leak" into the natural world, then the impacts on animals (Inc. marine iguanas & 🦈) then onto innovative solutions on how we can make fashion more sustainable.

And yes, this was a nice excuse to share some personal holiday snaps of what I like about the coast (the range of activities we can do, the wildlife, the diversity of the environment, and ultimately... I love to take photos of it)

Why do we like spending time by the coast? Does everyone have the same experiences? What is it about the environment and wildlife that facilitates these benefits? If you want to know the answer to these questions, then this @CDT_SuMMeR #PhD is for you: https://t.co/MCVzAQLQS6

Whilst many scientists are supporting the discussions at the #INC3, this very timely article came out 📰 Such a nice detailed dedicated piece on @ProfRThompson's discovery of microplastics to why its a problem (the impacts) to the solutions of the not-so-far future. @PlymUni

A really thought provoking day bringing together multiple scientists and decision makers together to discuss the new plastic treaty. What can we do about #PlasticPollution? Especially the plastic already in the environment 🌍 was also lovely to catch up with some familiar faces

A selfish way to spoil a restorative coastal scene. At a dog and friendly beach in Devon (Ness Cove @Teignbridge) some people have left the remains of a party (lots of rubbish, remains of a BBQ, oh and a whole marquee with speakers etc. and a birthday banner with c*** on it).
