Cover cant go back. We know it, talents know it and Yagoo knows it. Cutting HoloEarth out won't fix either because the core problem is they spread too thin What they can do is finding the balance, and if Yagoo can patch the flaw Kanata pointed out, then things should go up again

But it just doesn't feel right to compare companies based on how much they make Cover can absolutely maximize profit by making cheaper merch and less events, but I doubt old Holo would have as much impact as current Holo right now

So it irks me to see comments saying Cover should simply copy Anycolor if they wanna make big profits Profits in the end only meaningful for investors, and that's why I don't judge Anycolor for maximizing profits because they promised to send 30B+ yen to investors after all

But Anycolor and Cover is like apples and oranges. Anycolor did not change and continues to be the streamer agency, meanwhile Cover is gearing towards IP company that will paste Holo IP everywhere like gaming companies, so naturally Cover will need to spend more than Anycolor

Cover is at the middle between profit-maxxing company and 0-profit company. Even big companies like Brave Group is cutting out some branches because they are in the red As far as JPVTubing is concerned, Anycolor and Cover are the only 2 companies that are still in green

Anycolor's business model is guaranteed profit because they don't need to spend much and as long as there is demand for Niji, they will keep making money But for consumer perspective, I don't think Holofans would be willing to accept Holo's lack of content and merch variety

Like even casting HoloEarth aside, they don't have a US HQ, they aren't planning new medias (beside TCG), and there aren't any concerts or activities in Western countries after what happened in NijiEN Anycolor kept using the old safe formula and amplified it with more livers

Also if you look at Anycolor business model, they are basically what Cover used to be. Simply streaming with occasional concerts, and their merch is cheap to make but easy to sell But if they follow Cover's current business model, I doubt they would make this much profit now

Before you throw the irony ball at me, this also applies to Cover. Idc whether they chose the IPO route by choice or force, but by making more money, they did sacrifice something in the company that made talents leave Cover can no longer go back. They can only adapt
