Just an FYI for all. The KHSAA board meets on 8/20 as regularly scheduled. As always, the staff will be in regular daily communication with the Governors office, Public Health, KDE and member school districts as we navigate this fall and school year.

Board votes to adjust the first playing date for basketball in 2020-2021 to January 4, with desired state tournament dates for weeks of March 15 and March 22 and direct staff to enter into venue negotiations for final confirmation at a December meeting.

Michael Mayer, Covington Catholic's 6-foot-5, 230-pound junior who has commited to Notre Dame in football as a tight end, looks like he could've come from straight from the NFL Scouting Combine to play in the Sweet Sixteen.
Jacob Tamme – Boyle Co. (2003) – The all-stater helped Boyle Co. to a 58-2 mark with 4 state titles. A standout at UK, Tamme was the 2nd-leading TE in SEC history with 133 rec. for 1,417 yds. Tamme helped the Broncos reach the Super Bowl in 2014.
