What a night at the KC Metro Mile Championships. We saw several meet records, some state records, one of the fastest High School 800M races ever and so much more! We can't wait to share it all with you soon. Lots of content coming in a few days!

Few athletes are as decorated as Brooke Beck, Brooke has earned 12 state medals across XC and Track, she is fast at everything from 100m to 5k! She holds multiple school records, and she is back to run the Metro Mile! Brooke will be running at Oklahoma State in the Fall!

Our final qualifier for the 800M Showcase is Kruz Bigham from Benton High School in St. Joe! Kruz had a great season finishing as the Runner Up in Class 4 with a time of 1:54.70, Kruz is the school record holder in this event at Benton HS. @BentonTrack

We are excited to announce our next qualifier for the 800M Showcase! Kevin Lewczyk the Suburban Gold 800M conference champion from Liberty North. Kevin dropped a 1:54 that night and did it again at Sectionals! Kevin will be ready to roll in the stack 800! @LNEagleTF @LNEagleXC

Parker will be joining us again at the Metro Mile, last year's HS Elite Boys Champion. Parker now competes at the University of Kansas. Parker has run 3:47.63 in the 1500 which converts to a 4:04 mile! Can Parker get the meet record of 4:04.14? @kansasrunning @kansasrunning
