Sounding like a cross between Travis and the Kooks, this is a cool, chilled-out tune from Freeman. https://t.co/qKCpmTcn7T

...echoes of Flowers' solo work more than the band's back catalogue. A grower, that certainly feels like it'll go down well live. (7/10) https://t.co/6c1JUYpFP3 [2of2]

Single review: the Killers - Caution Starting like an extended intro to 'Money for Nothing' before kicking into more familiar affair, this is undeniably the Killers, this time in a more uplifting mood. Slightly poppier than some of their more recent material, it has... [1of2]

This album, which has just gone to number one, is well worth a listen with many enjoyable songs and influences. It plays it mostly safe and sits, for all but one track, in very familiar territory, but it will keep the fans happy. (7/10) [9of9]

delivering a northern-themed lyrical poem. It's the most different song, but surprisingly one of the most entertaining and listenable. [8of9]

...to your face. The calypso-influence on 'New York Ivy' finally shows the album entering new territory with its sound, and it's the last-but-one almost-title-track that comes most out of left-field with a string of guest artists... [7of9]

'All Of My Friends' is probably the album's biggest number, its well observed and memorable chorus winning you over, and is the track that is most likely to demand a replay. 'The Prison' is another favourite, and the clap-along 'He's Got What I Had' will bring a smile... [6of9]

'So Happy' is one of the album's standout tracks, its stuttering chorus and catchy lyrics working well, with some 1920s influences in the production, fun which continues into the buzzing 'A Good Day Is Hard To Find'. [5of9]

Opener 'The Only Exercise I Get Is You' is a bouncy and poppy number; 'Somebody's Superman' with its stretched similes is one of the best of the more traditional tracks, and 'Big News In A Little World' is influenced by early noughties indie. [4of9]

There's much to enjoy in the sparky music and fun lyrics, even if it doesn't quite have a really stand-out track like the last album's 'She Got the Garden'. [3of9]

efforts. For the most part this album is an unsurprising and familiar affair that fans will lap up, even though it plays it pretty safe until the penultimate track, with a number of tracks that could be summed up as 'this album's version of X'. [2of9]

Closer 'Nebraska' keeps the heart breaking, wrapping up a short and sweet album from a pair who, as the cliche goes, could sing the phone book and make it sound emotional. A beautifully written, sung and produced album that grows with each listen. (4 stars) (8of8)

...'How It Goes' echoes Royksopp at their height. 'Drunk on You' adds a bit of variety to their familiar sound, keeping it fresh, with 'Nothing But You' and the orchestral-tinged 'I Wish I Never Met You' lifting up the second half of the album. (7of8)

...and production nods to hospital machinery, is incredible. 'Hallelujah' lifts the pace and feels like it will be a big live favourite, as it was in Leeds, thanks to his simple, but catchy drum and vocal hooks. 'In and Out of Love' is touching and soaring; and... (6of8)

Opener 'Dust' is gentle and catchy thanks to their recognisable harmonies and well-written lyrics. 'Happy' is potentially the best track on the album, it's bitter sweet lyrics suiting their musical style, and 'Better Now', with shades of their famous hit 'All We Do'... (5of8)
