USCG 6023 returned around 0530 EDT and searched for about 2 hours before RTB. Track with @live_airplanes: According to a FB post from USCG Sector LI Sound, the search has been suspended as of 1205 this afternoon.
Finally was able to get to the photos I took before going to work. #USCG #Sikorsky MH-60T Jayhawk 6023 & the Incident Command area at the Birdseye Boat Ramp taken from the Milford side of the river.

6023 was on station at about 1517 EDT conducting a number of passes along the Housatonic before heading out off Stratford Point. ~1648 they went in to KBDR for about 30 min then searched off the coast of Milford before RTB.

In 2023 I posted about the ed over white S-76A that was stored on the Sikorsky property as seen on Google Maps. In 2024 it was donated to the CT Air & Space Center at the other end of Main St in Stratford. Here is N764SA today.
There's more there too. Top looks like a full S-76 airframe and a partial one next to it both wrapped in blue. Bottom is probably an S-76A with red over white livery.

@live_airplanes Update from the USCG. A lot happens when you step away to do things. Vessel was located on the west breakwater, search underway for missing persons

ANOTHER UPDATE:. #USCG HC-144B 2302 is now searching New Haven Harbor & the State of CT's newly reg'd Cessna T206H circled the area as well.
HC-144B 2309 appears to be departing the area after circling the western breakwater at the entrance to New Haven Harbor. RB-M 45733 appears to be there also.

Unknown if this might be related to the overdue vessel the USCG Sector LI Sound just posted about on FB. See also:
N506PA, a 2018 Cessna T206H Turbo Stationair, recently registered to the State of Connecticut is doing a zig-zag pattern westbound across Long Island Sound.
