One thing I think we mistake is for clubs wanting identify with the sponsor. No wonder we have the bi funny names. However it is supposed to be the other way round. The sponsor to identify with the club. The sponsor taps into the club’s values and community.
@KABAYANJA @felmaestro29 Clubs in Uganda use those big sponsorship names to be identified everywhere but if our clubs can stand alone for example Pirates rugby club and just have sponsors appear on the jerseys then that would actually be great.

You compare Uganda to Kenya and yet undermine the dynamics of politics in Kenya. Kenyapolitics is extremely tribal. And for tribe, many will do anything. We have seen it here during the Buganda riots. We should be grateful therefore that we dont practice such kind of politics.
