Just bought a liter of milk at a Spar in Bulawayo. Yesterday in Joburg I paid R9.99 for it. Here it is R45.52. When an economy collapses, the poor are hardest hit. This is not a drill. This is not a drill. This is not a drill.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!! The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says South Africa’s financial sector must be disrupted in order for it to transform and empower black people.

@TristyTrist1 Sorry, I remembered it as $3.35 a liter. It was actually R3.10 so price is R43.42 a liter. Herewith the till slip for two liters of milk at $6.20 and a screen shot of today’s currency exchange rate.

@JustineLimLaw @_Buleh_ Okay, my sister, we must not disrupt banks. Let the status quo continue, we don't want to be like Zimbabwe. 🙌🏾

@Malebzz @_Buleh_ The banks are not the problem. A govt whose budget for the VIP protection unit is larger then the budget for land reform is what is stalling the transformation of the unequal land access status quo.

@JustineLimLaw @alfred_cabonena Yes, and that’s when you can find it. Shelves empty and the produce you can buy is so expensive you would think it was gold plated. SA , this is only the other side of the Limpopo so very close. Take heed.
