Happy to report I'm still at it. β€οΈ Family life took over the last 3 mths in wonderful ways and I'm still building @JoinQuda late at nights. My 2024 goal is to serve up fresh, insightful Q&As daily. It's a hard task, but I love a challenge! Awesome new guest on soon. π

Apart from AI apps like ChatGPT and Perplexity, very few products will be AI only. AI will be a feature, not a product, as ubiquitous as the like button on socials. Market leaders in each niche will add it and keep their moats. Big Tech will continue to dominate as before.

Because you can't rely on social media apps staying the same, diversify. Algos change. Reach is limited unless you pay. Be nimble. Shift to new internet ground. As in investment, diversify!

What's the one thing you need every day to keep pushing your startup forwards? Motivation. Where does motivation come from? You're energized when you work on it, you love it! β€οΈ Love = motivation = perseverance = results π

Curating clips is going well π TT is a great place to test demand for content Because the algo doesn't rely on follower count, you can get reach easily Proud I've got to a 10 day streak as consistency is not one of my strengths If something is working, keep going! π

When you're under extreme constraints you have to bet wisely with your time I get about 1-2 hrs a day on @JoinQuda, usually late at night It's easy to use up that tiny window on unimportant things, so I'm trying to push only 1 big thing forwards at a time The art of focus! π

Make small bets on marketing. See what works, what doesn't. Try different channels to find out where your product's users are hanging out. I just started on TT and it's working great. Happy experimenting. π

Gotta admit, I've fallen a little in love with the indie maker community. β€οΈ As someone with not many tech besties locally, connecting with you all online has been awesome. Big wave to everyone building their startup this weekend! π

You can stay hidden thinking you've got a special startup that everyone wants to steal π€« Me in 2020 Or you can ship little experiments, share your process, learn as you go along and discover magic secrets of what people actually want Me in 2023. Glad I've evolved. π

New experiment! π§ͺ So far @joinquda content flywheel has failed I've been unable to sustain organising AMAs The new plan is to curate clips, narrowing the focus to how exceptional people got started in their careers I've always resisted narrowing down to a niche, but it's

Deeply frustrated π€ Been at a standstill for 2 weeks Not because of my day job or family commitments, but because selling our home has been way more time-consuming than expected As a solopreneur, personal life-stuff can derail your momentum at any time. Staying positive β€οΈ

Startup founders have way more in common with each other than differences. We're all trying to push our projects forwards, step by step, through setbacks, struggles, wins & breakthroughs. Wishing everyone success in the accomplishment of their goals! π
