This was one of the most fun trainings I’ve gotten to do in a long time. The staff at Tuscola Tech Center were so welcoming and energetic. The applications for AI in CTE programs are so varied and exciting, and this group had such good ideas as they explored and experimented.

We brought a big team from @MichiganVirtual, along with @adirlam and @fossileyes, to @dearbornhtsd7 to talk about a wide range of topics dealing with AI in education. Some great questions and engagement from some amazing educators - just the beginning of their journey!

Kudos to the superintendents from the Cheboygan-Otsego-Presque Isle ESD for taking the first steps toward AI integration and inviting me in to participate and share the @MichiganVirtual framework. I know they’ll be doing some impactful work going forward!

Our team got to facilitate discussions on teacher and student use of AI, as well as the ethical implications of the development and use of this technology, with some amazing educators at @MuskegonSchools. Thank you so much for having us for a great day of learning!

AI can’t make the perfect reuben (yet). So @kendirkin and I still made sure to stop by @zingermans for a bite after great discussion on how AI should be considered in the design and delivery of assessments at the Michigan School Testing Conference hosted by the @MIASSESSMENT.

I got to spend the whole day with staff from @IthacaPublic talking abt ways to use AI in their practices and with students. I wasn’t prepped to compete for their attention with sunshine and warm temps in February. Or to take a selfie with no sunglasses 🤓 Thanks for having me!
