Last year broke me. Actually the last two years, like so many others. It feels like I’m tip-toeing into this year with a new (old) school. Part of me is afraid. The other part of me is uncertain. I’m determined to have a good year though. Who’s with me #teachertwitter?

Since being told by TEA that my Missouri admin cert is worthless and that I have to take their version of tests, I’m soured on seeking admin in TX. It’s a bummer. I don’t have it in me to do more testing and a performance task.

I’m excited next year to be teaching at the school where my daughter will be a senior and my son will be a freshmen. Im giving teaching one more year to see if I can get back to the fun, passionate teacher I used to be. It doesn’t hurt that I’ll be back with some friends.
