A part of this I didn't expect to see was the reminder that Cincinnati and Atlanta were in the NL *WEST*.
Summer in the 80s for me was being able to turn on WGN everyday for baseball. And that's what it was. Just baseball. No cares about anything but sunny skies, big crowds, ballpark noise, Harry and Steve and ballplayers playing a ball game. RIP #Ryno. Here's a snippet from '86.
