We are very likely to see major neglect. Everything we get back into our pockets will be paid out & more when States increase income taxes, use taxes, or push services onto you to pay. Sure, you'll save a quarter penny on every dollar in federal taxes, but pay much more later.

Dismantling & federating FEMA is the software equivalent of firing your infrastructure team & moving infrastructure to every app team. There is a benefit to centralizing & sharing expertise that saves money, while savings from federation usually come only through neglect.

Presidential approved life hack. Write a letter to your local grocer telling them your price per dozen eggs is $3. Call it a deal. The president did say eggs would become affordable again. Just didn’t think it would be as easy as writing a letter and calling it a deal.

Love the fact that I get to work & have direct impact on partnerships like the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition https://t.co/eaDcVLb1JK. To me, the XBox has been my console of choice since 2001 when I was at the Redmond Town Center launch event.

Visual eye candy like Liquid Glass trades off battery life, development time, and access to meaningful features that could be using the same compute. I certainly hope I get the choice to turn it off. They should call the option Apple Accelerate. Goes with their F1 theme.

Wow so much news about Trump and Tako this morning. I mean. It’s not that bad. Trump always kowtows others. Endearing and respectful. No idea what this Tako scandal is about. Maybe I’ll find out later from Fox News.

Investment thought of the day. Given the number of ride share Teslas, it is a reasonable insight that the folks operating those vehicles are operating themselves out of a job. I’m curious how many thought maybe robotaxi would step in allowing them to continue earning?

I love how all of the investment projections in robo taxis takes ride share pricing and then gives all the profits back to the robo taxi company then values the underlying. Might need to rethink that and actually provide value back to customers.

If someone is telling you about a business where you can make a bunch of money it’s either a) a Ponzi or b) not scalable or viable and YOU are their business. If they have some real is insight or advantage then telling you about it is a risk. So much of X is these soft scams :-(

When Trump says you might have 2 dolls instead of 30 & they might cost a couple bucks more. That is absolutely less wealth & a direct erosion of your purchasing power. Pay close attention over the next few years to more than just the bottom line number and more to what it buys

Wealth is not an absolute number. It’s purchasing power. It’s a measure of trading your currency for an object or service of a given value. Having the number on your bank account increase, or a stock, is often more indicative of inflation and weakened currency than being wealthy

Hope everyone is happy w/ 25% more expensive XBox consoles. Controllers will also be more & they were already high. Games cranked from 70 to 80 (probably not tariffs). Also seems global to smooth out the impact on the US. Unfair to say the least. https://t.co/WKfUuxNMgC

The cost of gaming just went up but there are still deals to be had if you act fast.

More importantly, why are transportation/warehousing going up when we hear about 20k layoffs at UPS and Amazon downsizing. When did private health and education services get so hot? What is going on there? Anyone recently see a hiring spurt there?

What is the government hypothesis here? Why are government jobs padding up the numbers even slightly shouldn't they be negative with all the layoffs or was this having to hire everyone back due to the legal issues surrounding the original firings.

Some very sus jobs data. When the market goes green, it makes me wonder, did they read? First, Feb/March were adjusted down 58k & no month so we will with April. Govt jobs positive (odd given Doge). Transportation, warehousing, private education and health were all the rage.

Heard gas prices were low from someone high in the government. Even heard under 2 a gallon. Is this some new art of the deal where you just divide by 2 and pay that number instead? Maybe it’s that 24-48 hour hyperbole at play again only applied to gas prices?

This does look pretty interesting. First person will likely restrict the audience since comfort is a big learning curve with this much movement, but maybe there would be a 3rd person isometric board view in the future as a spin off to continue & build a franchise. Need to try it!

Sadly Washington state seems to be responding to federal cuts by simply increasing state taxes. This is the trickle down implications that are invisible to simplistic analysis. Delusions of more money in your pocket. Sure lower federal, offset by higher state. It nets out.

GDP negative, eggs still over 8 a dozen, Lyft pushing 3 dollars more per ride or 20% today. I sure hope my income after taxes makes up for all this fake news inflation I keep hearing about. Apparently my 8 dollar eggs are 80% cheaper. I forgot when eggs were 40 bucks. Silly me.

Bummed we won’t get price transparency on @amazon going forward. All other taxes and VATs seem to be represented so unclear why tariffs wouldn’t be there.
