I hear and read a lot that "RE VII brought the series back to its roots" and my experience with that game couldn't be farther from the truth. I completely disagree with that assessment and while I still enjoyed RE VII, IMO classic Resident Evil it is not.
Did Resident Evil 7 bring RE back to it's survivor horror roots? I personally don't think so. First of all not a fan of the first person view or the new characters. Was it scary? Hell yes! Does it feel like RE? Hell no!.

Definitely not for everyone, but it's magical if you're into that kind of thing. I actually like the hit chance combat, which most people seem to hate, because it gives me a real sense of progression as my skills raise. When I was younger and first playing it, I loved Daggerfall
@JustPlaying85 @ATwiceTooNice @A_DungeonDelver @Grummz That being said there's plenty of neat thinga that I wish beth would bring back to ES6 if that's ever happening in our lifetimes. Fast-Travel options, more expansive equipments, better faction progression, more freedom in spell making and using.

Don't know the first thing about #Warhammer, but saw this is a turn based CRPG and a few screenshots. suddenly I'm quite interested. Probably will give this a try after Avowed.

Man. I compared #Avowed to Mass Effect in terms of player freedom and design, and someone said that it's not really comparable because Mass Effect focused on "one guy's life and his romances". send help. lol 😆😆😭

Yeah, wasn't super confident at first, but the more I play #Avowed the more I like it. Surprisingly more here than I initially thought. Seems like a great game really. Love that it's in the Pillars universe. hopefully it does well enough we see Pillars of Eternity III.
