Superman’s my favorite character because he stands for Assimilation, The Human Way, and Tomorrow. His title as the man of hope and the champion of kindness is very inspiring to me.

writing after LOSH Vol. 3 #50 did slightly go down in quality for me personally. I'm also really sad that Ultra Boy doesn't get a whole lot focus in this run. But thankfully he's still well-written when he does appear.

1. Paul Levitz' Second Run Not only do I think this is THE quintessential Legion run, but it's also one of my favorite comic runs of all time. What Paul Levitz is to the Legion is what Chris Claremont is to the X-Men. Levitz redefined the Legion and its members into what it is-

would put this at the bottom, right? But what saves this book is the AMAZING writing this book also has. Giffen gives us some of the BEST character work, world building and storytelling ever. Issue #1 alone got me hooked on the series. Those great parts really carry this book.

some of the Legion's best villains such as the Fatal Five and Mordru. He also wrote some really good stories. His run is what finally got me hooked on the team.

3. Jim Shooter's First Run Jim Shooter is, in my opinion, the second most important and impactful writer for the Legion. It was through his run where members became more distinctive from one another. For the first time the Legionnaires actually felt like teens. He co-created-

4. Cary Bates's Run The run that really kicked-off the Bronze Age for the Legion and gave them a more updated look. This run has a really strong start, with Bates writing was is my favorite Fatal Five story of all time. My only problem with this run is that I do think the-

5. Paul Levitz' First Run While his first run isn't as good or impactful as his second run will be, it is still very good in its own right. He wrote what might by my third favorite Fatal Five story of all time, and one of my top 10 Legion stories.
