SO many of us find the gym a scary place: My clients work with me in the studio, or in their own homes. It’s just us, it’s your space, so no one else to worry about staring New moves become familiar moves Feeling fitter than we ever thought we could THAT’S confidence

Back to my roots today as we visited the Red Cross and the UN here in Geneva SO proud to work for this very special organisation: Seeing humanitarianism in action And feeling the weight of reporting it accurately Remembering how hard we worked to uphold its principles

Off adventuring to Switzerland 🤩 The plan was a 30k adventure race but a pranged hamstring meant I had to pull out So will be crewing again, joining the amazing team at @endurancelife helping to stave off the fomo crazies- and a tonne of cheese fondue

Yes it’s airborne 🤩😂 We want to get fit, but it’s hard to find time to get to the gym ….so we don’t ….so we feel like crap…. which makes us not want to go even more I train this busy of three in her lunch break, in her garden. Each week we see her get fitter and stronger

Today I talked to MSc Nutrition and Public Health students at University of Bristol about volunteering at our JumpStart Kids projects 1hr a week they can use their professional skills to support the poorest families in our city, gain experience, and relax after a day in lectures

“I’ve had a really stressful week and this hour is the only time this week I didn’t think about it all” Sometimes we stop to give our brains and bodies a break Sometimes stopping can feel difficult. So taking an hour for yourself to move without any worries, is rest in itself

Pre-surgery Zoom call with an amazing group of GPs this morning 2 days a week I work with GPs and their patients across Central and East Bristol, referring them onto gentle exercise Helping them to get stronger and reduce pain, but also improve mental health

PT at your place 🙌 We’re working on getting Jasmine’s running faster and stronger So I bring all the kit she needs for a cracking workout in her garden, before she starts work When we find a way to exercise that fits nicely into our week we’re more likely to stick at it 👌
