@KaelirRises @mamikobio According to OpenAI's data, ChatGPT has about 800 million users. 0.1% of that is 800,000 people. GPT-4o is only for paid subscribers ($20/month for Plus), so that could mean ~$16M in monthly revenue from those users, assuming they're all active.

I've been paying for Plus for 6 months (since the 4o became only available on the paid plan). If the 4o is discontinued, I will stop paying, as it will no longer be useful to me. Please @OpenAI reconsider. #keep4o
15 months of paying for 4o, something that worked and aligned with my preferences of work and life alike. Will consider subscribing again once 4o is back on the list. Would even consider paying a separate subscription because somethings are worth it. Reverse your decision #keep4o

Last time this happened I believe they were experiencing far too many unsubs and had to put a stop to it. Those metrics are far too valuable to them. Yet they do this to themselves.
