Looking back on 2023 and these just might be my four favorite football related photos I snapped during the year. Grateful for my years at Rivals, looking forward to the opportunities ahead in 2024!
(If you're going to steal them for social, at least give a girl credit.)
Saints WR Michael Thomas: "This city's always been tough. Always came back from adversity. It's just about the moment ... that's the hard part. As far as next year we're going to come back and we're going to come back with revenge for sure."
Apparently part of the ceiling fell near the media workroom in the Super Dome after DeMario Davis’ interception. That’s how loud
#Saints
fans are right now.
"I hope to represent LSU in a great light, but all young African-American coaches out there who are looking for this opportunity." --

Change of heart -- Zachary WR Chris Hilton Jr. will now sign with

tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. instead of waiting until February, a source close to the situation has confirmed to me.
Louisiana's No. 1 WR is a huge part of the Tigers' 2021 class.
Ed Orgeron told a story on "Off the Bench" this morning that gave me goosebumps.
Orgeron said while in high school he asked his dad why they didn't go to LSU games. His dad said, "Boy, we can't afford that. ... You keep on working, you won't need a ticket to Tiger Stadium."

Ed Orgeron on Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson's early NFL success: "These guys poured their heart and soul out for the state of Louisiana and
#LSU
, and now they getting it in return. I'm so happy for all of them."
WR Jalen McCleskey has agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints, per National Sports Agency.
His dad, JJ McCleskey, played for the Saints in the 90s and is now the DBs coach at Tulane.
Steve Ensminger on Myles Brennan: "I think Myles is going to have a great season. Spending two years behind Joe Burrow did nothing but help him. ... I'm very confident Myles is ready to lead this football team. Get on the bandwagon and let's go."

Looks like LSU's defensive line will be getting back a familiar face: tackle Joe Evans tells me he's returning to Baton Rouge this spring.
"I'm ready to get back to work."

Went back to do a little digging. One of the first times I covered Justin Jefferson in high school. Listen to the song playing as he scores a TD back in 2016.

Shaq asked Joe Burrow on podcast about LSU's next QB: "Myles Brennan, he can really spin it. ... He's gonna be a really good player. He's a smart player who can spin it. I'm excited to see what he's going to do this year."

Ed Orgeron encourages the

fans to come out and watch the SEC match against Auburn, says the crowd really sparks the team.
He added that fans should pace themselves throughout the day to make it to the 8 p.m. kickoff.
Crazyy.
Before Brian Kelly even walked off the field he was communicating with Brian Polian, the specials teams coordinator, on what happened on that last play.
Jayden Daniels on the LSU baseball team's win last night: "That game was crazy. LSU sports is putting on. Women's basketball, baseball and we're up next.
"It's inspiring to see. I'm happy to be part of a community that's rich in sports. We're trending up with LSU sports."
New LSU head coach Brian Kelly: “I could not be more excited to join a program with the commitment to excellence, rich traditions, and unrivaled pride and passion of LSU Football."
No. 1 CB Desmond Ricks, a five-star in 2024, has had a longtime interest in the
#LSU
program.
"I feel like when you have a pipeline of good DBs then the NFL is going to keep coming back looking for more. Guys like Tyrann Mathieu set that path."
