Australia has nothing in common with Iran, we must cut ties with this despotic regime.

There is good and evil in the world, and the government should not act with indifference towards the only democratic nation in the Middle East. Iran deploys terror against its citizens at home, and it exports it abroad.

Last year, I called on the Albanese Government to close Australia’s Embassy in Iran. I repeat the call today. Our Embassy in Iran should be closed. The Prime Minister should give the order now.

For decades, Iran has sponsored death and terror throughout the Middle East. All that has happened with today’s strikes on Israel is that Iran’s evil intent has been brought out into the open.

She believes Jewish-Australians have no place in our national life. This is the Greens. The NSW Parliament should censure Jenny Leong for these terrible comments. 3/3

Comments such as these are now a feature of the Greens political philosophy and organising. Jenny Leong wants to silence Jewish Australians and to remove any Jewish influence in politics, the arts and philanthropy. 2/3

If Jenny Leong was an MP for a mainstream party, I would call on her to apologise. Given that she is a Green, she will probably be promoted. The video of Ms Leong’s comments about Jews and their “tentacles” is further proof of the cancer that is permeating the Greens. 1/3

They were a beautiful team that complemented each other. On this incredibly sad day, I am thinking of Rod as well as Peta’s family. May the memory of Peta Murphy be a blessing for all knew and loved her. 4/4

I got to know Peta when we were both participants in the McKinnon program. She had a wonderful sense of humour that put people at ease. Her husband Rod was a lecturer in the program – and they were a wonderful yin and yang. Rod’s realism and Peta’s idealism. 3/4

She was brave too. A fighter who fought for what she believed in, and who fought every day against an invisible foe. Right until the end, Peta stood toe to toe with that foe. We saw her strength and it touched us all. 2/4

Peta Murphy was a passionate idealist. She believed that politics could make lives better. Peta was generous, thoughtful, smart and everything you’d want in an elected official. 1/4
