This seems to be the right moment to step back from X, but I'm not going present this as an act of high principle. Follow link for why not I will keep the account open & post the odd update but won’t be engaging. Keep in touch – sign up to my mailing list! https://t.co/GIN8qh24ir

Tonight @stgeorgesbris! So soon after the US election result, I'm very curious to see how hard Cherry's feelings are. I think she's going to have a lot to teach us about dealing with it. https://t.co/PTAV27SxQv

This is only “the closest US presidential election in decades” if the polls are right. In recent elections, polls have been wrong. Therefore isn’t it likely the result will not be as close as polls suggest? If so, one candidate will be a clear winner. I hope it’s the right one.

How the World Eats review, Irish Times. 'Debunks myths aplenty... Baggini’s arguments are both readable and reasonable, which should find common ground across the food industry, whether you are a committed vegan or part-owner of a meat processing plant' https://t.co/dQh9dIKgjG

Absolutely agree that The Senators were a great band that by bad luck and circumstance just didn’t find their audience.
On the strength of the blistering attack on masculinity, Man No More, from their 1988 debut, The Senators – Kitson brothers Jim (now an actor) and Mick (now an author) – were one of the great English soul duos who went woefully unnoticed. @JulianBaggini

I remember my chat with Robert after my @WigtownBookFest appearance. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Worth it just for the other guests, TBH. @PenVogler's Stuffed is, well, stuffed with fascinating food stuff & everyone I met at Wigtown was swooning over @Hebridean_Baker
A Foody Read On is #NowPlaying or available as a podcast. Robert Kirkwood is @Talking_Books with the @Hebridean_Baker, @PenVogler on Scoff and Stuffed and @JulianBaggini on How the World Eats. Recorded on location @WigtownBookFest
