Youāve also got him to blame for my career. A family man, he pestered @Tweed_Barnesy to come and speak to me before a game heād taken me to, telling him I wanted to be a journalist and Nick was so kind with his time. The rest is history. Shy bairns get nowt.

Itās my grandadās funeral tomorrow. I will always remember him as the cheekily grumpy Sunderland fan who turned up at Stadium of Light with a head torch to āshow them where the goal isā during a bad spell of form. And despite our Tyne-Wear differences, heād always wish us well.

Spot on from @DomShawEcho on Rob Edwards here. He talked a good game at #Boro but jumped ship the moment there was external interest. "If Wolves fail to stay up this season. Another relegation. Then what? He wouldnāt get a job like Boro again." https://t.co/7yN10gZWZs

This is such a poor look for Edwards, whose stock is only as high as it is after Boro took a massive risk in hiring him following his disaster season with Luton. #Boro fans right to be angry about this. https://t.co/uPV5Vb0RvP
