What a comical game of football that was. No matter how bad we are this season, there will always be one team worse than us, and that's the team in all black... We'll desperately take those three points though! With Barnsley up next, there's now a chance to build some momentum.

Schofield, Morgan, Steele, Low, Lee, McGrath, Rudge, Horton, Adams, Clarke, Moore. It's been a brutal start and a long-overdue decision, but last season Darren added his name next to a select few. That's the man we should remember. Now it's time to rally, fight and survive.

The only thing missing from that away day was the most important thing - three points. Good performance, old-school ground and a raucous crowd. We're taking baby steps, but the large strides MUST follow!! I hope Byers & Funso are okay. We cannot afford to lose both long-term.

The less said about yesterday's game, the better. We started poorly & looked increasingly lost with each substitution Darren made - hardly surprising given the number of strikers we threw on. In the end, we got exactly what we deserved. Let's put it behind us quickly & move on!

Yesterday I woke up feeling like death, but Oakwell provided the perfect cure - three points. π Some bold calls from Moore paid off as we continue to ride the crest of a wave. Dajaune was excellent, so was Jessie, and Jaheim too. We're looking like a very solid L1 outfit. UTFV

It wasn't the result we all dreamed of, but last night proved one thing - the fan base is there to fill Vale Park, and the Shanahans have put us in a place where we can welcome it with ease. Now the focus shifts to Barnsley as we keep building towards that goal. Proud to be Vale.

We rarely do things the easy way, but where's the excitement in that? π
The last two games haven't been our prettiest, but we're six points better off, & the Ruari-Devante link-up is thriving! What a great day to be named Vale. Now same again on Wednesday. Into those Gunners π

Went to Birmingham for a tick & returned with a win that could well kick-start our season. What a performance, heroic, relentless, flawless! Saturday felt like we were mourning, but last night we rallied together. Let's keep this momentum going. All I care about is PVFC! π

At this moment 75 years ago, the first ever game at Vale Park got underway. Time has certainly left its mark, but every crack holds a memory. A proper old school ground in a country being filled with soulless bowls. Long live The Wembley of the North & our glorious big pitch. π€

Another game where we rue missed chances and get punished. Let's try not to panic, but we do need to turn the tide quickly. It's hard not to feel like we've started L1 the same way we exited two years ago. Lacking luck, goals, and the ability to finish the job. Big week ahead.

Another exciting day of football ruined by an insane decision. Thankfully, this group doesn't falter under adversity. Heads didn't drop & we ground out a much-deserved point. Positive signs for the season ahead! Finally, I've said it before but the Burton away end is dangerous.

Oh, how I've missed that. There's nothing quite like being back at Vale Park when the lights are shining brightly. And if we play like we have over the last 135 minutes, we'll have absolutely nothing to fear in this league. We were robbed tonight - but sadly, we're used to it.

Smudge tearing up during this interview just nearly broke me. π He lives and breathes Port Vale, and we love him unconditionally for that. There will never be another like Nathan Smith - truly one of a kind! I'm absolutely gutted it's over, but not as much as he is. π Legend.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Nathan Smith would be leaving Vale Park following sixteen years in black and white. We sat down with Smudge to look back on his journey from scholar to present-day club legend. Forever one of our own. π€π€ #PVFC

I was honoured to attend the @6townsradio Awards on Sunday to celebrate our amazing city and the wonderful people that reside within it. Totally shocked and privileged to be personally recognised π³ Proud, as always, to play a small part in helping to push our club forward. UTV

New league. New look. Same tradition. And if you've ever wondered what our whole squad would look like bald... πβοΈπ₯
