Our firebase database is up and running! When a user completes their quiz, their total_score and average_percentage are updated. Nearly ready to start populating the leaderboard! @CommandShiftHQ

Our app now has dynamic parameters! The amount of questions a user selects is limited, depending upon how many are available for a particular set of parameters. Pretty cool.😎 @CommandShiftHQ

In case you can't tell, I won't be keeping up my #100DaysOfCode obligations for the meantime. I will however be posting regular updates and cool coding stuff. Myself and my team have used API data to display a series of questions and answers for our quiz app 😎 @CommandShiftHQ

Day 144 & 145, #100DaysOfCode, Great lecture last night with @CommandShiftHQ on online deployment of software. Battling with a bug on my Property Search Engine whereby React doesn't seem to like me calling one of my hooks inside my event handler for my search form submission. 😑.

Day 143, #100DaysOfCode, More practice using query strings to help navigate my React app. The useLocation() object proved handy for picking out the search data I need. I also used npm qs to parse my query parameters into an object usable by the rest of my code. @CommandShiftHQ.

Day 142, #100DaysOfCode, I can filter by city! I used the "to" prop in my sidebar links to set the location url. I then destructured location's search property and used it as a search parameter in an axios get request. Finally I passed the response into my setProperties function.

Day 141, #100DaysOfCode, My search engine renders my properties by making an axios get request to my API. I had some trouble with resolving the returned promise, turns out I needed .catch after my .then. @CommandShiftHQ

Day 140, #100DaysOfCode, Built my PropertyCard component for my search engine. This is what will render on the properties page. It's just dummy data for now, but I'm pleased with how it looks! Big love to Font Awesome for the icons. @CommandShiftHQ

Day 138, #100DaysOfCode, Spent some time today playing with axios, postman and docker to have my search engine send data to a locally hosted API. I love working with APIs, it's weirdly fun and makes me feel like a proper programmer.😎@CommandShiftHQ.

Day 137, #100DaysOfCode, This is my search engine so far. I love flexbox! It made styling this fairly painless. Definitely more work to do on the styling but I'm pleased that it's looking reasonable. @CommandShiftHQ

Day 136, #100DaysOfCode, First time playing with React Router today for my property search engine. It feels fairly easy and intuitive so far, for static routes at least. I love that the React docs include a tutorial project you can mess around with too! @CommandShiftHQ.
