You can preorder my new book “An Economist’s Guide to Environmentalism.” It’s scheduled for release on Oct 16. In the book, I assemble a toolkit of easy-to-understand economic concepts and then apply those tools to a variety of environmental problems.

The work of the Ostroms and the broader Bloomington tradition is more important than ever. This is a thought-provoking article, and I’m honored that my work with @AMSchaef is included, along with other scholars I know, like @PeterBoettke, @vladtarko, and Paul Dragos Aligica.

Review 2: Ambrose paints an engaging and compelling picture of both Lewis and Clark, as well as Jefferson, Sacajawea, and other members of the Corps of Discovery. It’s a must-read for any American history buff, especially for those interested in Native Americans.

Review 1: I’ve discovered that John Adams is my second cousin eight times removed. Reading this biography of my long-lost relative made me appreciate him as a political theorist, a revolutionary, a man of principle, and a family man.

In January 2023, I made a resolution to read 15 books I hadn’t read before. I ended up reading 20 new books. Just for fun, I’ll be giving my review of each of them over the next few days.
