Purcell must continue to work on his arm strength and add more good weight. You also hope he ends up around 6’2, ideally. But the raw tools are there for this kid to come in, take a year or two in a college weight program, and start earlier than many HS commits.

Purcell is the first commit in the ‘27 class for #iufb and a super important get for the staff. The 6’1 composite 4* plays at suburban Chicago power Maine South and shows good arm strength, touch and accuracy. But he’s also really good throwing on the run and feeling pressure.
