From when the 2022 Jordan Estate Assyrtiko was released and tasted at various industry events since July 22 it has evolved into a wine typical of Santorini's island-style - floral citrus aromas with a minerally & saline finish & a texture and acidity screaming for Cape seafood.
In 20 years' time, it will be fascinating to see how history determines who was the first SA producer to take Assyrtiko to market. @Jordan_Wines, having established the first motherblock, showed their maiden 2022 today.
