The one and only Sir David Attenborough telling world leaders that it’s time to act - and that there is no longer any excuse for inaction - was a powerful moment of the #COP26 opening ceremony

Lot of locals pissed off at all the tourists....personally, I'm bloody thankful to all of you. Its you, and only you that are saving a hell of a lot of small independent businesses from permanently closing right now after a tough 18 months. But, please keep to big roads.

I’ve learned more from the bad leaders I’ve worked for than the best: - how not to take credit for other people’s ideas, to always credit & praise people, especially shy people. - not to dodge tough decisions. - listen harder, then harder again. - give people freedom to innovate

I know how much the mental health of some of our members is deteriating but @NicolaSturgeon seems hell bent on keeping gyms closed regardless of the cost to users She won’t take the time to visit one of our Health Clubs to see how we keep members safe
@DuncanBannatyne Can you start a petition to get the gyms and pools open. Need these open for mental health and overall general health

The gates are open, we are welcoming visitors and there’s ample room to roam. The gardens are a wonderful place to switch off and wallow in nature.

Although opening up the #hospitalityindustry is a positive step, many places will struggle with increased overheads i.e. staffing to help cope with the pressure of the restrictions, whilst having limited ability to push sales with reduced footfall. https://t.co/rzWps5VEJg
