Everyone fears bluffing nitty players, because they only play monsters. But they’re bluffing goldmines hiding in plain sight. Here’s the counter-intuitive way to turn their discipline into your profit machine: 🧵

Find a game you can beat (study a ton or play with obviously horrible players), play it a lot (put in a ton of volume), and keep a proper bankroll (much larger than most players expect). 📈📈📈

“But Jonathan… he’s a nit! He can have pocket queens!”. Yeah, maybe. But here’s the thing:. You have the nuts too, and in this spot, your range is stronger than his. That’s why you can, and should, bluff. Relentlessly. 👇

This river isn't great, but it's not about your hand. It's about the range you represent. And from that lens, the best move becomes obvious. Here’s how I think about this river spot:👇

You bet 18.9bbs, and the UTG player calls. The river brings the T♣️8♦️6♠️5♦️-[Q♠️]. [Stack 65.6bbs / Pot 69.3bbs]. What's your play here? 👇.

Continuously ask: "What are my and my opponent's range, and what's my plan?". Without accurately assessing your opponent's range, informed decisions are impossible. It's a skill. Practice strengthens it.

“But Jonathan… he’s a nit! He has overpairs!”. Good for him. Let him. You’ve got all the nuts, and that’s what matters. Bet big with bluffs and monsters. Check the middle. It’s not about your hand. It’s about your range.

The turn doesn't help you. But it doesn't help your opponent either. I'm going to show you how to approach this spot like a pro. 👇

Your check-raise range is polarized here (bluffs or the nuts) so we can go big. And the best part?.Villain can’t reraise without torching chips. It’d be suicide.

Facing 30% pot, most people auto-call. But not having some check-raises makes you predictable. You have multiple options here. Let's take a look. 👇

The flop comes T♣️8♦️6♠️. Your move? Check—it’s the play for your whole range. [Stack 97.0bbs / Pot 6.5bbs]. UTG then bets 2bbs. How would you play it? 👇.

If you thought about folding or raising here, it's time to revisit the basics. UTG’s range is strong, but not so strong you give up K9s suited. 3-betting? You're lighting money on fire. The right play is a simple call.
