I tried going through my backlog of videos to find more things I disagree with now, but it got too cringe, so I had to stop.

"Your Game Needs a HOOK!" - Nah, it helps, but it's overvalued. What matters much more is that you find a good opportunity in the market and exploit it.

My framework for how to create appeal was too short-sighted. There are a lot of different ways to create appeal and this model fails to capture that reality.

I used to believe that you need to do heavy promotion for your game. I still think you should promote your game BUT I also believe that making a great marketable game IS by far the best marketing now.

Having your game art be self explanatory deserves much better than being last place on your priority list.

I reinvented "Flow" for no reason. I thought flow was a contributing factor to fun, now I think it pretty much IS fun. Also, fantasy/mimicry is not a must for creating fun, so I'd sort it more to motivation, appeal or enjoyment now.
