Ladder line is one of the three types of twin-lead parallel wire balanced transmission lines used for radiofrequency applications. It is a balanced transmission line unlike the popular coaxial cable which is an unbalanced transmission line.

The NanoVNA has been connected to the antenna system using a small SMA to SO 239 jumper cable. PL 259 on the 183 cm long HLF 200 coaxial cable in connected to the SO 239 connector. Coaxial cable is soldered to terminals of ladder line outside the shack.

Elevated one limb of the loop antenna on a mast vacated by the non-functional fan dipole. Made the feed point from the ladder line almost perpendicular as suggested by @SP3RNZ. Of course, all these are compromises due to mounting constraints! Just trying!

No joint at feed point as ladder line continues as antenna. Joints will appear at the junction of ladder line to a 2 m long coaxial cable which I will have to use for connection to the radio.

Pending work is connecting it to the radio with a short length of coaxial cable, balun and tuner. Remaining part of the 60m wire I bought has to be mounted as some form of full wave loop antenna in an attempt to get a low noise reception.

What you are seeing in the video clip are Qi wireless power transfer logo and charging location in a car. Many of new cars have this facility and so does some of cell phones. That is a way of charging without plugging in a charger while you are travelling.
