I hope everyone who is interested in education will listen. Those of us in ed, especially public ed, understand what a labor of love our jobs are. We continually have convos about how to be better so we can more effectively serve our Ss. Our work is difficult but is worth it.

This is a major problem in many schools and districts because textbook companies often ignore current research. In most cases, there are few or zero options for teachers to use real books. This is a travesty, and we must do better. Reading real books leads to deeper learning.
