Damn must was a bad one today.
Worst Jaguars offensive practice I’ve witnessed since Blake Bortles’ five-INT night. At least 7 dropped passes, 10 penalty flags, several sacks and sloppiness all around.

Watched that Jaguars' preseason opener: Like that T. Lawrence got the ball to the playmakers but too much emphasis over the interior. Get T. Hunter in space more on perimeter. OL and DL still need plenty of work. The placekicker Cam Little is going to end up in Canton.

Say this about Jaguars coach Liam Coen and his staff, they have revoked all of those training camp country club passes issued by Baalke, Pederson. Veterans are now looking over their shoulders because starting spots are not assured without earning them. Finally.

Trevor Lawrence going through his progressions, not eyeballing primary receiver. Brian Thomas Jr., doesnt need to play any preseason games - he's already regular- season ready. Nice scrimmage -- time to go home.

Going to that Jaguars' scrimmage Friday night to see if OT Walker Little will finally show some toughness to win a few one-on-one battles against the guy lined up in front of him.

There's no position group with more questions going into Monday's first day of pads than the Jaguars' OL. Will they be able to move people off the line of scrimmage? Will they be able to protect T. Lawrence adequately? We'll be watching throughout the season - that's for sure.

Finally football is back. Finally we will see what a new start with new leadership looks like for the Jaguars. Finally we will see what Travis Hunter will do playing both ways in pads against intense competition. Finally Trevor Lawrence must perform consistent, like an elite QB.

One of the best guys I covered during my time as a Jaguars beat reporter. Always had time to talk even after that preseason game at Tampa Bay when speculation reigned he might not make the 53-man roster.
