The rule was recently changed. It use to be that you could put a hand down and you were considered a grounded fighter. Now your feet and hands have nothing to do with you being a grounded fighter. A knee on the ground has always made you a grounded fighter.

Michael, the point being taken has nothing to do with the where the fight should resume. Whenever a fighter is on bottom and fouls the fighter on top of them the fight should resume in the same place and position it was in when the foul occurred. If the fighter who fouls is in.
@aaronbronsteter I think if a point is taken, position is lost. If it’s only a warning, the fighters go back to the established position. I’m fairly certain I heard @JohnMcCarthyMMA say that in the past.

Maybe you should examine the inconsistencies in his story and figure out what is being said is not what actually occurred. Did he knock him out or even knock him down to the ground? Is there a bell that actually starts the next round or is he making the bell sound because it.

When the number goes over a million I’ll start looking at the possibility. Remember…. paying eyeballs on the fights; that’s what a promoter cares about. Some of those eyeballs are wanting to see Jon win. Maybe many of them wish to see him lose. The promotion doesn’t care which.

Most people are going to say Tom Aspinal vs Jon Jones. It would be a great matchup and I would love to see it. But I am going another route and looking to see Patchy Mix taking on Sugar Sean O’Malley. Both men are tall long lanky and good everywhere in the cage.

You can be a hater….@THEREALPUNK feels the same way as you……. If you were going to take out the ability to be in a HOF based upon PEDs you would be taking out a lot of people currently in the HOF. It wasn’t always illegal. But as I said your opinion is yours and you are.

Reffed a lot of his fights, but I would have to say the ones he lost were some of his best performances. He almost had Jon Jones with the armbar back at UFC 152. He had a spectacular win over Wanderlei back at UFC 17.5.

Uhhhh Richard,,,,,, he appeared to not know who anyone was because he didn’t know who anyone was. Many people who work for AC know many of the people involved in the sport and then there are some who don’t know anyone. It’s just a job to them.
