Oh FFS, that has to be the lamest excuse ever! They're trying to argue it was done in error! You cannot, at this time, of all times, churn out such a diabolical, machiavellian response? Scandalous contempt for the electorate? They won't, but heads should roll.

They have said it was a production error. How do you go back to footage from 3 years ago, splice it into yesterday's ceremony and call it an error? It takes effort to do this stuff.

If the BBC had been running the story on his mistakes during the event then they would have selected the correct tape. Even if it wasn't on purpose, the omission of fact in the first instance is to blame for the "oversight"
