Any one who graduated in drama from LaGuardia high school in NYC has a conservatory degree in acting. Like Timothee.
#TimothéeChalamet says another actor questioned his acting ability on one of his films: “No names, but the guy was a punk. He asked what conservatory I’d gone to, and I said I didn’t go to an acting conservatory. He said, ‘Well, you haven’t trained as an actor then.’ And we were

Unbelievably funny and I hope true.
Poet laureate Mark Strand was rather popular with the ladies, I’m told. After a reading one night, a woman pulled him aside and said, “Mr. Strand, I want to take you back to my hotel room and **** you all night long.” Strand eyed her a moment. “What’s in it for me?” he said.

Glad to see that this guy is keeping a cool head, not playing into anyone’s hands.
I've truly lost any empathy as a Canadian to my US friends. Sorry, and I didn't vote for him doesn't cut it any more. We are through with you. You're part of the reason we are angry right now. You are citizens of the US and are accountable. You don't get off easy any more.

A great record but maybe a little slick in its production and arrangements (did I hear he was influenced by Gordon Lightfoot’s sound?). The truly great LP is Desire which is a lot less ameliorating and thus more true to Dylan’s temperament and vision. Love the title too.
My most basic Bob Dylan opinion is that Blood on the Tracks is his best album. It’d be much more fun to argue for Street Legal or Modern Times or something more unusual. But come on. Blood on the Tracks has never been topped - by him or by anyone else.

I finally saw this whole movie. A glorious mess with a chilling ending. And I got the title wrong. It’s The KREMLIN Letter. It might be a masterpiece.

She really was the worst and stupidest person ever to review movies
I think De Palma has sprung to the place that Altman achieved with films such as MCCABE & MRS. MILLER and NASHVILLE and that Coppola reached with the two GODFATHER movies—that is, to the place where genre is transcended and what we're moved by is an artist's vision. (1981)

Very sporting of Ringo not to mention that George initiated an affair with Ringo's first wife, Maureen Cox. Ringo was devastated and it's pretty clear that a sense of anger and distrust lingered.
