Rare things in Scott County in the fall: Mud covered pickups and roads Can't hear wells pumping I hear water running down the ditch. Join us Wednesday afternoon for our Limited #Irrigation #Corn Field Day, I think we have a great event planned. https://t.co/ng3OoUKjDg

Went and looked at 2 fields of corn. One panted at 20k (left) and right next door at 14k (right). 18 vs 20 round and both ears are 37 long. The 20k is 101 day vs 95 for the 14 k.

Back in October I posted that my wife had a double lung transplant. Here we are on our first big trip since the transplant and her first hike in over 10 years. She could do this prior to the transplant. As she said, "Living life again". #transplantlife

In the local Bomgaars. 40 lb bag of corn price equates to $12 per bu. Talk about ridiculous.

I hate when the linear goes on a weekend bender and can't walk a straight line Monday.

A little early to see a soil temperature that high. Hit 106 F on Friday. Just shows how dry we are.
