Depends. If it’s someone I’m close to, I’d be pretty hurt. Otherwise, I’d appreciate the upfront notice far more than someone being courteous to me in the name of social harmony, politeness and tolerating my ass.

I actually appreciate this. It stings like fuck and throws me off, but at least theyre being honest and upfront. Better this than being polite and conversational in the name of social expectations. I hate it when Im talking to these ppl and think im doing good.
