If Busch would have gone to 1B then he would have had to put Workman into that spot in the lineup which came up in the 9th. Makes total sense why he kept him in. Just have to catch the ball.
I rewatched the last 2 innings of Sunday's Cubs game. Here are 2 questions I have for Craig Counsell: Why didn't u walk Gavin Sheets in the 8th to face Jason Heyward? Also, after Busch pinch hit why wasn't he in the game to play 1B in the 9th? Both decisions backfired. #TakeThat.
