My six-year-old, Luke, is having bone graft surgery tomorrow at CHOP. He’s a brave guy, but is feeling a little nervous. I told him that I’d ask for some good luck messages (or cool gifs) on here, and would read/show them to him in the morning. Thank you!

Nick Foles delivered one of the greatest Super Bowl performances in history four years ago today.
Baseball's biggest problem isn't strikeouts or analytics or pace of play.
It's curmudgeonly broadcasters that piss on the current game and players. You know what's a bad way to sell a product to young fans? Screaming "get off my lawn!" every night.
When you factor everything (moment, weather, scrambling 20 yards away from his throwing side, stopping as a defender pursues, telling the WR where to go, dropping a dime into his hands), this is one of the best throws an Eagles quarterback has ever made.
Checking in with the head coaching hires prior to the 2016 season!
Adam Gase: 23-26, FIRED
Chip Kelly: 2-14, FIRED
Hue Jackson: 3-36-1, FIRED
Mike Mularkey: 19-17, FIRED
Dirk Koetter: 19-29, FIRED
Ben McAdoo: 13-16, FIRED
Doug Pederson: 32-19, Super Bowl champ, back in playoffs
-Nick Foles was unreal.
-The touchdown pass in the back of the end zone to Corey Clement couldn't have been thrown better by any QB in NFL history.
-The 4th and 1 pass to Ertz with 5:39 left is the most underrated play in franchise history.
This should be the Phillies Game 7 lineup tonight:
1. Schwarber
2. Turner
3. Harper
4. Realmuto
5. Marsh
6. Castellanos
7. Stott
8. Bohm
9. Rojas
Enough with loyalty. It’s time to get serious and win a pennant.
The Chiefs might have won either way, but to have a Super Bowl shootout end like that is a disgrace. Greg Olsen was right. That call is atrocious in that spot.
Current state of Philly sports:
-Eagles: Won the Super Bowl
-Sixers: Clinched first playoff berth since 2012, aiming for home court in 1st rd
-Flyers: Six points up on a playoff spot
-Phillies: Signed Kingery, spent nearly $200M to start winning now
-Villanova: Final Four
By refusing to give up No. 53 to Atlanta last night, the Eagles effectively chose to draft Carson Wentz’s back up over giving him the No. 1 WR in the draft.
That’s now 87 home runs in a Phillies uniform for Kyle Schwarber. He could get to 100 (including postseason) in his first two years here. What a signing by Dave Dombrowski.
Scripting the ultimate ending to this Nick Foles story:
-Get in the playoffs
-Beat Chicago
-Beat New Orleans
-Beat Dallas in the NFC Title Game (after they upset the Rams in the Divisional Round)
-Beat Andy Reid's Chiefs in the Super Bowl
The best part of the Tim Anderson-Jose Ramirez fight is both the second base umpire and Cleveland radio broadcaster going from baseball mode to boxing mode in the snap of a finger.
Best AB/HR ratio in MLB history (min. 3,500 PA):
1. Mark McGwire (10.61)
2. Babe Ruth (11.76)
3. Barry Bonds (12.92)
4. Jim Thome (13.76)
5. Kyle Schwarber (13.84)
Stop whining about WAR, and start appreciating what we’re watching.
Just met a Phillies fan who walked up and bought a ticket here 15 minutes ago, which means this is *not* a sold out crowd. Very sad situation for the Braves fan base.
26-of-33, 352 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 141.4 passer rating.
Happy six year anniversary to the day Nick Foles morphed into the best quarterback in football and put the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Deshaun Watson, who has one career playoff win, was enabled to hold up the NFL offseason to choose his next team, one year after quitting on his team and racking up 22 civil suits against him. And he gets a $48M raise on top of it. What a joke.
The Phillies hit .159 and struck out 71 times in the World Series. That’s the worst batting average (in a series that went at least six games) and most strike outs ever in the World Series. It’s remarkable this even got to six games.
Chase Utley joined WFAN this morning, and took calls from Mets fans, including one woman who called him a dirty player.
Utley’s response as the call ended: “See ya, sweetheart.”
Jalen Hurts since the start of the 2022 season:
W-L: 22-2
Comp %: 67.5
Passer rating: 99.7
Passing yards: 6,048
Rushing yards: 1,076
Y/A: 7.9
Passing TD: 37
Rushing TD: 20
We are watching the best QB in Eagles history.
Rob Thomson is about to move to 38-19 as Phillies manager. This team went from 22-29 under Joe Girardi to playing .666 baseball for two-plus months. It’s time to start talking about Thomson as the NL Manager of the Year.
The Braves dominated the NL East the last two years only to get destroyed by the Phillies in the playoffs. Look at the innings led category. Not even close.
Jalen Hurts stared down the blitz and hit Dallas Goedert on a 3rd and 11 on the Eagles final drive, creating an easy FG attempt. Kyler Murray slid before the sticks. Little things make a difference. Great teams find a way to win.
The Eagles had a chance to create a defacto bye, rest their stars and reset before a playoff game. Instead they are now somehow more banged up and embarrassed heading into a playoff week. All in the name of a very slim chance Dallas could lose to an awful team. What a joke.
That was a grownup superstar moment for Joel Embiid. Took Toronto’s best punch, bounced back from a tough first half and shut up the road crowd. Most impressive moment of his career.
The Eagles have been outgained by an *average* of 109 yards per game over their last four games. They are 4-0 in that span. I’ve never seen anything like this.
Game 1: Wheeler
Game 2: Nola
Game 3: Suarez
Game 4: Walker/Sanchez
Game 5: Wheeler
Game 6: Nola
Game 7: Suarez
Winning tonight set the Phillies pitching up for the NLCS.
