To help celebrate our 50th anniversary, we partnered with Julia Gagnon on the Maine County Song! This classic song is one that Mainers learn in elementary school and remains a unifying message reminding everyone that we are proud to call Maine home. https://t.co/P3is61pt9E

Did you know you can be fined because of the damage done from ice and snow flying off your vehicle? Do the right thing! Clear ice and snow off your roof before every trip.

It's National Pedestrian Safety Month. MaineDOT has distributed pedestrian signs to municipalities throughout the state to help keep people safe. Drivers can also help by observing the signs, slowing down, and incorporating pedestrian awareness into their driving routines.

As we move into fall, the sun is lower on the horizon, and it can be harder for drivers to see. Drivers, be on the lookout for pedestrians. Pedestrians, don’t assume drivers can see you. #PedestrianSafetyMonth

Remember that highway rule from driving school—stay right unless you're passing? It's still crucial on the Maine Turnpike, especially with updated laws for three-lane sections.
