You will find hymns to Vishnu in the Rig Veda. Vishnu is the oldest god worshipped anywhere in the world. Older than the Jewish Jehovah, older than even the Zoroastrian Ahura Mazda. The only god who thrived in all eras of recorded history. And he'll survive Napoleon's curse too.

Some lost Indian philosophies have been preserved in Greek. Sañjaya's Ajñana directly influenced Pyrrho of Elis, father of Western Skepticism. Medhātithi's Ānvīkṣikī may be the source of Aristotlean deductive logic (Nyāya being Inductive). Can we reconstruct such lost systems?.

Why is President Trump so obsessed with Nobel Prize?.Being a conservative, he is never going to get one even if he finds cure for cancer and everything else. Why he wants to be in the same league of previous dubius recipients like Yasser Arafat, Al Gore and Barrack Obama. I don't.

There were serious, high quality debates between Nalanda Acharyas & Mīmāṁsā Ritualists on whether Varna/Jati is a 'Natural difference' between humans. But it has been completely erased from Indian memory. Reopening the debate under malicious colonial rule had grave consequences.

What do you think will happen to bigoted minds like his when they are exposed to the Mahayana origins? The vast majority of things he *thinks he knows* about Christ are actually stories/sayings/parables from the land of 'Demon Gods'. The cognitive dissonance will be interesting.
Legal immigration is far worse than illegal immigration. At least the Hispanics worship Christ. Meanwhile the H1B’s are putting up statues of their demon monkey gods in our lands.

"They referred every thing to Pythagoras, and called it by his name, and that they did not ascribe to themselves the glory of their own inventions, except very rarely". -Iamblichus [245- 325 CE]. This is an admission from within the Greek tradition that Greek.
@JoeAgneya if Indian idealism & metaphysics could reach Greece, why not mathematics? The Śulbasūtras had the 'Pythagorean theorem', it's plausible mathematical seeds from India reached Europe earlier via Hellenistic contacts, even if the decimal system later through the Islamic middleman.

In the santhāgāra (Senate) of the Ṛkṣavī (Licchavi) state, there were three types of voting. The Guthaka, Sakarnajapakam & Vivatakam. In Pali it was called Salākā-gāhā “taking of ballots”. When Upali codified the Vaiśālī Principles, the Roman Republic had not yet been founded.
@JoeAgneya Can you give the exact reference in Pali for the concept of a “vote”? If possible in the pre-Buddhist Vaishali republican documents and also Pali reference to its later adaptation by deduction (to a smaller group) and induction (more inclusivity)? Tx.

A large chunk of Aristotlean & Platonic texts are forgeries (Not written by Plato or Aristotle). If you examine them, you will see that both Āstika & Nāstika systems of thought have been digested, cut and pasted in mosaic pattern all over. This literary mosaic behavior is also.
@JoeAgneya Though my focus is on Upanishadic influence on both Pyrrho's philosophy & Christian mysticism, I came across an uncanny similarity between Aristotle's 'virtuous mean' (Mesotēs) and Buddha's 'middle way' (Majjhimāpaṭipadā). Could this be mere coincidence or possible influence?.
