In New Orleans we used to play "Pack Poker". You open a pack and effectively play spades. Colors are suit, mana cost is rank, lands and foils trump, and of course you keep all your books.
In Costa Rica, we have a mini game called "Booster Macho." It involves opening a booster pack, and the person who reveals the most valuable card gets to take the entire pool of cards from the participants. It's interesting and exciting. Do you have any similar game?
