It’s still not my favorite, and I was disappointed by some aspects in terms of the themes (or lack thereof imo), but I appreciated what it was trying to do. The one thing I enjoyed is how to some extent it did feel like I was traveling with in-game friends :)

It’s one things to say “This isn’t the show I grew up with” due to nostalgia But when it’s pure, ai generated slop made with no love for its fans, old or new, that even its ads aren’t legitimately made with real models? That’s a completely lack of respect for the entire fanbase

Agreed. I’d like to add that it’s also very hard to network in the fandom. Everyone is hesitant, stiff, or simply remain in small cliques with most people interacting to argue an opinion as fact, in my experience. 😕 You’d think such a big fandom would be more inclusive.

Are we having this conversation again? It’s okay to like either, ya know? Games evolve with their audience, and all forms are acceptable. Yes, I prefer the pixels myself. But there is equal value for someone playing Pokemon in the modern era of the series.

Given that you can change your character to look however you want and everything is unisex, the real question is if you want Urbain or Taunie as a rival? I’ll pick Harmony to get Urbain and transition later on ^_^

Welp, with PLZ-A on the horizon, along with Gen 10, I’ve finished #PokemonScarletViolet main story for the last time, at least for the next year or so, with only Kitakami and BB Academy left. I have a new perspective on the game after initially disliking it, and it was fun 🙂

My current problem with the Winx Club reboot is that it’s disguised as a “new iteration for a new audience”, but it’s presented as if the people watching need to have prior knowledge about events that occurred primarily in the OG series, and that’s terrible storytelling. (3/3)

I don’t think it’s fair, in any fandom people love, to settle for anything less than a standard the creators themselves have shown to have the capability of achieving based on their previous works. 🙂 Nostalgia aside. Everything should have a baseline to work off of ^_^ (2/3)

Understandable. But they’ve had the opportunity to “improve” since OG S6, and when it’s been downhill for several years since then you really just don’t feel like asking anything else than just letting it rest rather than simply ONLY use something you love for meager profit (1/3)

Honestly? With the lack of passion they had for the Sinnoh remakes, I’d rather they don’t revisit Unova at all. I’d rather remember it for what it was, as 𝘮𝘺 personal golden era of Pokemon. I’m afraid they might cut corners for a quick profit 😭
