One has to absolutely adore this. European Parliament members are worried EU is missing the tech train, so they’ve decided to incentivize kids under 16 to sharpen skills by building their own cryptographic platforms on the dark net. Brilliant!
BREAKING: The European Parliament just voted in favor of banning social media for people under the age of 16. 483 MEPs voted in favor while 92 voted against. If it becomes law, people will likely have to use IDs to log into their profiles, making anonymous accounts impossible.

In a monetary system with a central bank, it is impossible to claim (strong) endogeneity of money. There is no "loanable funds theory of money," but rather a loanable funds theory of interest. Exogenous money shocks then drive the interest rate from its natural rate.
Here's Milei "teaching" econ with cute diagrams. The claim that central banks distort the interest rate assumes a natural one set by real savings. But money is endogenous! There's no market-clearing rate being undercut. The problem is a flawed "loanable funds" theory of money.

Myslím, že každý by měl mít možnost používat peníze, jaké chce — zlato, hotovost či bitcoin. Považovat hotovost pouze za „způsob platby“ je ale nepochopením současného monetárního systému. Jde totiž o fundamentálně _odlišný typ peněz_ (báze) než představuje platba kartou (IOU).
Dávat hotovost do Ústavy je blbost. Ústava má chránit svobodu a právní stát, ne způsob platby. Je to jen populistické divadlo, které brzdí modernizaci.

Trh je abstrakcí interakce nabídky a poptávky. Tržní signály musí existovat i mimo (některými modely předpokládané) ekvilibrium, jelikož rostoucí ekonomika je ekonomika inovační (tj. nabízí stále nové věci). Nintendo Switch 2 bylo před premiérou vyprodané. Hra Václava Havla není.
