I am at Phoenix City Council chambers. The meeting started with a moment of silence for former interim Mayor Thelda Williams who died yesterday from cancer. Williams served the city for 30 years off and on.

I had the honor of being Thelda’s Vice Mayor. She was a fantastic Mayor! What people don’t know is she was hilarious, and would have me crying w laughter at every turn. She will be missed.

We should honor our veterans every day. This wouldn’t have happened if not for D2 resident Archie Dicksion.
In 2021, @CityofPhoenixAZ installed the Arizona Medal of Honor Row on Pinnacle Peak and Cave Creek roads near the National Cemetery of Arizona. @PhxDistrict2 Councilman @Jim_Waring talked with @arizonapbs this week about how the project came to be.

I’m grateful for the support from the residents of District 2 and am proud to have been entrusted with another term as their councilman.
Phoenix City Council races update: Jim Waring wins for D2. No path to victory for his challengers with remaining uncounted ballots. D6 is now for sure headed to a runoff. Kevin Robinson, Sam Stone still in 1st/2nd. Moses Sanchez surpassed Joan Greene for 3rd.

Putting up yard sign in Tatum Ranch. Neighbor saw me and asked for sign as well. He was thrilled when his missing for a month turtle crawled out of bush near sign placement.
