This bloke always been there when I need a chat, advice or just to sound off to, my older brother Stig. We met up this week for the first time in 7 yrs, work/life stuff gets in the way but need to make more effort. #worklifebalance #family ❤️

Just love the Brecklands skyline wandering around a crop of onions early morning. Falldown now on the go, MH time if the weather holds. Who doesn’t love a crop of 🧅 🧅 ?😁 @MoultonBulb

Can we go straight to 2026 now? Maize tasseled, won’t grow anymore and only 4’ tall, fat hen taller than the crop! It’s total rainfall since planting is 68mm, we’ve just been so unlucky and missed all the decent rains! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Any of my farming friends know a company where I can get a fuel bowser? I’ve tried a few but all they seem to do are either 1000 lt fast tow behind truck or ‘site’ bowsers which don’t have brakes, lights etc. I also want decent wheels not car tyres so i can tow behind 🚜 offroad.

So by the time we go home at 10’ish .tonight we will have hit the 41 ha wheat cut and to my surprise yields better than expected, just a little below our average. Great teamwork #teamewp #crusoe @SaxonAg #16hrs 👌👍

Another very very frustrating day with no harvesting! A very light shower scuppered my plans and it’s still 15.5-15.8%, neighbours missed the rain so going. This season if not the year is challenging & frustrating. I know it’s early but………….🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😩🥺😤🤯.

Cereal harvest25 well underway now. It’s not going to be exciting but with only a third of our usual rainfall this year it’s not surprising.

With a total irrigation ban on 2 of our sites we will expect to loose a percentage of the crops, possibly as much as 25%. We have tried to mitigate the circumstances when they arise by investing in reservoirs so saving winter water to irrigate summer crops, which are now low.
