I have said many times that when it’s time and our turn they will show up. They showed up today in a magnificent way - first, third and fifth - congratulations to our USA metric mile runners. Congrats, Cole Hocker, Yared Nuguse and Hobbs Kessler. You make us all so proud.

We bring you a legend in the mile with Jim Ryun. In 1964, @jimryun burst on the track scene at 17 by running the first sub 4-min mile by a H.S. boy after only 2 years as a runner, and a month later, he would earn a spot on the Olympic team in Tokyo. https://t.co/3GolGtO0dB
