14yrs ago, first test shoot for my film @JetSlade Rise of the Black Hood. I didn't own a dslr that could film video so a good friend lent me his for a few days. I now own the same camera & lens for nostalgic reasons which I still use today. "Where there's a will there's a way."

It's the prep beforehand that I love. Storyboarding, continuity, costumes, recce, script rehearsals, visualising the scene in my mind, prepping my gear, setting the scene, pressing record & saying, "And Action!" Post production, film scoring, so many variables to consider.🎬 🎥

No budget, but with hard work & the support of awesome people I've managed to write, produce, film, direct, edit, fight design & stunts, visual & sound FX, costume/make-up design & compose a full 24 Motion Picture Soundtrack. "I reckon that makes me Truly Independent!"😅🎬🎥
