Yesterday someone broke into one of work compounds and stole the catalytic converters out of 4 ambulances 🫠. The audacity is unmatched. I wish I could say I was surprised but….

Waiting for my train and there’s a station announcement for “any police officers - on or off duty- to make their way to platform X”. What’s this likely to mean? I can’t see any ruckus and as a humble paramedic off duty and eating a bag of crisps I can’t imagine I’m any use.

Had a job last night that triggered a lot of emotions about my grandmas death. Happens sometimes but last night was particularly bad. Cried the whole way home. Wish I could’ve rang her up & she’d say “how are you my fine friend”. Grief is odd.

Madeira was wonderful. Definitely returning for longer in the off season.

Completed my first standard distance triathlon! (1.6km swim, 40km bike and 10km run). Took me 4hrs 33 which is faster than I thought too. Enjoyed every minute, give or take a couple wobbly legged moments.
