I am lost for words at this photo…. When Tori first showed it to me on her LCD screen I LOST my damn mind. I can’t believe this is real. It puts everything into perspective, just how small we really are standing face to face with Mother Nature’s wrath. Just wow.

Absolutely incredible tornado in Nebraska today! Sheeeesh.

I know there's been a good bit of debate regarding whether that second tornado was a satellite tor or just a twin, so while I was assuming satellite, it is highly possible it wasn't so I'm all for considering any evidence to the contrary.

Thought I'd share a black & white edit of the large tornado and a smaller satellite tornado near Reese Center, TX on June 5th. We were getting blasted by RFD while I was shooting these images so they are a tad fuzzy, but you get the idea of how ominous the scene was.

The emotional rollercoaster that is chasing still catches me off guard even after all these years…. But as I’m watching the backside of an incredible supercell erupting with constant lightning as it drifts away, a peace settles in knowing that no one can take this away from me.

I believe this was the 3rd (?) tornado we witnessed just east of Lingo, NM at about 4:05pm MDT this afternoon. #nmwx

It’s hard to pick a favorite moment from today, but having a tornado form in the field right next to us was definitely up there. Confirmed with chasers further behind us that this was a tornado, not a gustnado. Near intersection of HWY 114 & 596 just west of Morton, 5:28pm CDT
